A pick-up and set-down service at designated points in the local area is operated.  We can arrange a pick up and drop off service from areas other than those advertised at an additional cost – please contact the travel office to enquire if available and the cost.

All of the holidays include excursions as stated at no extra cost. Optional days out, theatre shows, boat trips, entrance tickets etc. may also be available on the holidays but unless otherwise stated, these are not included in the tour price.

Passengers must keep to one small/medium size suitcase per person. In the interests of safety of handling for our drivers and hotel staff, packed cases should not weigh more than 20kgs (44lbs). If a suitcase exceeds these requirements then David Goodfellow Travel reserves the right not to handle the suitcase.

Owing to the limited luggage space in the coach lockers, we have only room for 2 wheelchairs/mobility scooters in addition to the cases. You must notify the travel office at the time of booking to reserve one of these spaces for the mobility aid if you need to bring one. You will be given written confirmation that your mobility aid has been booked on for the tour. Without the written confirmation we will not accept the mobility aid. Transportation of wheelchairs and scooters is at the passenger’s own risk and we cannot be held responsible for any damage to them.

After selecting your holiday please telephone the travel office to check availability and make a reservation. We will reserve the  holiday for 7 days, but to confirm the booking we need to receive a £30 deposit (non refundable) within this period. The payment can be made by telephone to our office using a Debit or Credit card, direct to the office either by cash, cheque or card payment, or by post making the cheque payable to David Goodfellow Travel. Please ensure to enclose details of the reservation along with full name and address if sending a cheque by post. The full balance must be paid 6 weeks before departure. If you have any special requests, for example dietary requirements, ground floor room etc., please advise the travel office at the time of booking. These will be passed on to the hotel concerned and every effort will be made by them to honour the request. Guaranteed sea views are available at some hotels, and some hotels apply a small supplement for single room booking. Where these are applicable, they will be advised at the time of booking.

In line with EC Directive on package holidays to provide financial guarantees to our clients, all monies paid for holidays will be placed into our trust fund and will not be released until the completion of your holiday by our trustees, giving you complete security and genuine peace of mind.

We do strongly recommend that holiday insurance is taken out. The amount of cancellation charge as a % depends on the periods before departure within which cancellation of the holiday is received:-

The company reserves the right to alter without prior notice seating plans, type of coach, excursions, (if stated), or substitute hotels stated in the brochure or online for one of equal value. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour owing to insufficient bookings or any other cause beyond it’s control. In such cases an alternative will be offered, if possible, or all monies will be refunded to passengers, where upon the company shall be exempt from further liability.

The issue and acceptance of invoices and receipts shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the conditions by the passenger.
